Wall Glazes and Washes

We create each wall finish on site from scratch to meet the unique needs of each client. To do that, we design and mix all colors ourselves (not at the paint store), which not only allows changes or adjustments to be made quickly and easily on the spot, but also makes the entire process convenient for our clients. No more running to the paint store just because a color doesn't look right. Mixing colors on site also makes it MUCH easier for the critical job of matching to upholstery, window coverings, floors, etc, which really is the key to achieving the right finish. We often create sample boards in advance (click to see our Sample Board page), but our favorite way of making samples is to do a huge 3 ft x 8 ft sample directly to the wall, because that really takes the guesswork out of knowing if the finish is truly right.

Faux Bois or Wood Graining

Faux bois, or wood graining, is one of the oldest faux finishes, with examples having been discovered in the Pyramids of Egypt. We have been commissioned to do many types of wood, including anigre, amboyna, mahogany, walnut, oak, pine, and cherry.
